Suggestions for Inverness
Suggestions for Inverness
Hi
I'm about to book a 3 night stay in a B & B in Inverness, it will probably be a week day stay in May.
As I've never been there before and time is short I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best sites to see and things to do.
My husband and I are pretty active and will prob take our mountain bikes with us, we enjoy a bit of sightseeing and we also love to walk and eat!!
Any suggestions would help me to plan our short break.
Many thanks

We're heading up north - to Fort William in May for the UCI World Cup , which since you mention mountain biking, might be of interest for you?
Otherwise, these might be quite good sites to have a look at:

if you have your bikes defo go up a bit further north to Contin - some of the best forest tracks in Scotland IMO. you could easily get down to Aviemore from Inverness too, as there are some really class routes there if the snow isnt too bad.
