Gypsum is more commonly known as Selenite
Selenite consists of 70% water and therefore is self cleansing (do not put into/run under water as this will make it dissolve) it is highly absorbent.....absorbing both positive & negative energies, making it a good crystal to use when dealing with emotions.
Helps with loss of fertitlity & sex drive can enhance the elasticity of the skin...gaining a more youthful appearance & assisting regeneration of tissue.
Relieves stress and enhances willpower. Helps to strenghen the immune system, will help to alleviate the pain of joint inflammantion & strengthens bone structure.
Brings clarity of mind, accesses angelic consciousnes. Reaches other lives. Assists with judgement & insight.
Also a wonderful crystal of clearing the Aura...all in all a wonderful gentle Crystal which usually proves to be a favorite once used.

When my fish died i used the Aquarium as an indoor faery garden which i have put plants & crystals of differant sorts.
In one corner I have a slab about 6.5 inches long narrowing to about 5 inches on the oppersit side. Of Orange coloured Gypsum, very earthy looking & the plants in that particular area are doing much better than the others which are doing very well.
not as fragile as the white Gypsum.

I work with selenite creating wands and other items, and find selenite can be extremely powerful in many subtle ways. It is also only one of 2 (can't remember the other one) crystals that will naturally cleanse any other crystal of negativity when laid on it.
I have been priviliged to learn of the amazing results from selenite on physical, mental and emotional levels as well as the auric and etheric levels.
I have recently refurbished one and created another laser wand.
Selenite is very 'picky' about other crystals it connects with as I have found on many occasions and will only allow those that vibrate with the particular handcrafted selenite to be partnered with it.
