I completed it last week - there is A LOT to cover in one year. Learnt a whole heap of techniques - there is so much to learn, so many techniques and I feel I need more time to get used to treating specific conditions, cause you can't cater for everything you might come across in the course. Have to say I'm really glad I did it. Be prepared to do a lot of background reading and practice outside class to build your confidence.

In the last two years i have completed a swedish massage and the year after a sports massage course. The first course was with V.C.T.C and the sports massage course was with ITEC. There was a big difference itec have much higher standards and there exam is a lot harder to do. With both courses you have to be prepared to do the background work.
At the end of the day massage is wonderful skill to have i have helped many stressed friends and a friend with chronic fatigue symdrome. I recomended the course to anyone especially if you like being with people. I am now going into aromatherapy.
i hope that i have been of some help.
