Oh my:( a young thrush just flew CRASH into the kitchen window , i went outside because i heard a noise and there it was flat on the ground wings outstretched eyes closed panting heavily, i didn't know what to do at first should i leave it , but if i do next doors cat may get it or the magpies nesting near by, in the end i picked the poor thing up cupped my hands around it and gave it some Reiki, for 5 mins untill it opened it's eyes and looked at me i then put him on the patio table to recover and came indoors not wanting to scare him or shock him to death, that was an hour ago , he is still there but now he has turned around i just wish he would fly up to the trees where he would be safer. :eek: ive put him in a bubble of light and asked great spirit that the preditors don't see him.

I dont know what it is with thrushes, theres one that always crashes into our window too. So long as its out of harms way while it recovers Im sure it will be fine. Often young fledglings can be on the ground for a week or so, if it is young no doubt its parents will be around to look after it. I hope its ok.
