Question for Gussie
Hi Gussie,
I'm off to do Linda Stokes course on Sunday. I've re-read some of the posts. Did you get course notes or anything from Linda beforehand?
I'm starting to panic (which is why I'm up at 5am) I haven't received anything at all!!!
I've just been down stairs to check there isn't a little card jammed in the door from the postman. - There isn't.

Heya! Ooh not sure why you chose me to ask but thanks! *smiles* We got course notes on the day, they were in a small folder, maybe only 20 or so pages. Nothing will arrive before the day, maybe only your receipt and a message to say you're booked on the course. There's not a whole heap you need to know. It's a very relaxing day so just sit back, relax, enjoy the teaching and enjoy the treatment even more! (It's brilliant)

Are you doing your course in York? If so I know a couple of people who will be on the course too. Linda gives a really comprehensive course with excellent case notes. You'll have no trouble with anything at all as she explains everything so well that you can't fail.
Enjoy the day, Linda talks about everything under the sun, so you'll have a really interesting day!

Yes, it is the course in York!! now I've just got to drive 2hours to get there - another thing to flap about - maybe I should be a bird not a bunny!!!!

Thanks Paul, I had a great time (apart from the journey down -see posting on thread above)
No I didn't set fire to anyone:D, including myself! I did have one lady who had very small ears which it was very difficult to get the candle into. I could had done with some sort of "ear spreaders", but I managed in the end. Linda said it was a good experience.
I'm really, really keen to get started on this, so I'd be very interested to hear :D of your experiences carrying out this therapy. Actually, I'm interested in anyone's experiences full stop!!

Glad you enjoyed the course! I loved having the treatment done at the end, although I was way too spaced out and chilled afterwards for the test. I was thinking to myself, ah who cares if I can't remember what's in the candle.. we were all really relaxed. Had a lot of fun, good atmosphere.

I enjoy having my ears done.
We have a few clients who have their ears done before flying on holiday but no real regulars.:(
However, we plod on.

I've had quite a few clients since I qualified in May. I have one regular who was booked in for a treatment today. However, she couldn't wait and as she only uses 'natural' methods decided to put a clove of garlic in her ear (despite me telling her not to put anything smaller than her elbow in it)! Part of it broke off and she couldn't get it out.
I told her to give it a day or so and it may come out on its own, or she would have to seek medical help. Thankfully, by the time she had her treatment today, there were no foreign objects, just some inflammation. Honestly, some clients!!!
