reiki insurance cover
hi All,
does anyone know of any insurance policies that will be able to cover me? I did Reiki1 in March and Reiki2 in April this year, but I think the standard policy that comes with the reiki federation/association states that you need to leave 12 months after Reiki1.
It's just that I am itching to start practicing privately...I already do reiki voluntarily (staff at the local Asda) and am trying to get a placement at the local vets to practice on the animals there. I don;t work at the minute as I am a little disadvantaged having a tumour and all, but I don;t want that to stop me starting a proper reiki practice!!!!! I am thinking of offering an occupational health service to local businesses, you see.
If anyone knows where I can get insurance from I would be very grateful........
cheers , L&L

HI Tiger,
I do not want to spoil your enthusiasm, but volontary work does not make you leaglly less liable to being claimed against...
Good luck with your plans,

Hi All,
The HPAI (Healer Practitioner Association International) 'do' membership and insurance for Reiki 2 healers for £ 20.00. Reiki training must have been done by a 'credible Master' (their wording).
They also provide an HPAI Reiki Healer badge (for about £ 3.00) which has the Reiki Kanji on an orange background.
Contact the HPAI at HPAI, PO Box 343, Cardiff, CF24 3WN Tel 029 2046 5171
