Today Health Direction

I was due to start working at a beauty salon last week, after visiting them a couple of times about a month ago and giving two of them reflexology. They said they wanted me on board to work a couple of evenings and a few hours over the weekend, I gave them some leaflets to send to their clients and was very happy and excited, we agreed to start roundabout the 14th April.
I phoned them the week before easter to check it was all ok, and the woman said she would call me back that day and i'm still waiting over a week later.
Now should I phone them again and ask whats going on?, or should I just assume that they no longer want me on board...

If I was you, I'd give them a ring, it maybe that they are just really busy and they forgot!

Yes give them a call. Something that seems so exciting and important to us could easily get forgotten but the salon (it shouldn't but it could). When I set up in one clinic I had to constantly chase them for weeks. Don't give up!

Call them. When I first approached where I work it was months until I actually got to see the owner.....I am in partnership with him now! Don't be down-hearted, it's true, they are probably very busy and it isn't so much of a big deal to them as you.

It may well be that they haven't yet got clients for you. I started doing some treatments in a local spa/salon place a few weeks ago and there hasn't exactly been a mad rush for my services! Initially I phoned asking if they had people for me on such and such a day, but now I wait for them to phone me. In the meantime though if you have somewhere at home where you can treat people don't forget to market yourself because you may find you get more clients that way!
