Help! What have I done?
Hi everyone
Last Friday a friend and I were giving some taster therapies to a few friends. I was doing Reiki and my friend was doing Indian Head Massage.
The first lady I did it on, - she sat in a chair and I kinda just scanned her aura then balanced up her chakras, I did tell her that I felt some hot sensations coming from her stomache area. She was impressed has she said she suffered from IBS.
After that she had a full IHM done from my friend, my friend is also training in spiirutal healing and could pick up a lot of energy from this womens crown chakra, she said this area felt amazing.
Now a week later, I have heard that this lady is not feeling at all well, that she has no energy about her at all and that she can feel hands on her stomach area all the time and she does not like it one bit.
I am at a loss to as what it could be, I thought Reiki always worked in the best interest to the person, does anyone know what I could advise this lady and put her out of her misery.
Do you think that she maybe should not of had the IHM done straight after the Reiki session, could that have unbalanced her?

Hi Angel
If you give an energy treatment for the best interest of the person then the treatment will take as long as it takes, you are just initiating the treatment, to stop it just bring your hands up as though you are placing them on each side of a persons head who is sat in front of you, close your eyes and state your intention to connect with her in the energy and you will sense the person appear between your hands.
Now again state your intention very clearly for the treatment to end right now and then disconnect yourself and that will stop it, by the sound of it she is not unbalanced at all but is receiving what she needs but it is taking it toll on her more than she would like it to :-)

Perhaps she is having a prolonged healing crisis.
What she needs is another treatment either in person or at a distance, as Paul Crick says.
It could be that it was the IHM that has caused this lady's sensations and you are collecting the flak because it was your hands that were placed on her stomach.
Her condition seems to be indicating that she requires more energy in her stomach area.
Did you, or your friend, give this lady an aftercare sheet mentioning the possible effects of treatment? This would have helped her to seek your help to overcome her current discomfort.
There has been a reference, recently in this forum, to a web site describing the Healing crisis. If you can't find that site or require an explanation of the Healing Crisis, I have one, together with a sample aftercare sheet (for IHM - but it can be amended to suit any therapy) which I could email you. Please email me with your email address if you need these two documents.
Just for today do not worry (seems like my personal Mantra for this Forum;)) you have done no harm and the situation can be remedied very easily with more Reiki.
