Music to massage to

What are your favourite albums to massage to?
I like music I can feel and work with as I massage, rather than just having background new agey bland nothingness.
Adiemus is a favourite, and I love Bliss's newest album, You.
What are your favourites and why?

Healistic Hi
Fleetwood Mac - Albatross
For me the best ever.

Answers:

Trow Really? For massage? I haven't listened to it in years - I'm going to put it on and see what I think!
Edited to add:
Just been having a quick listen and it's not something I would massage to. I wouldn't be happy with clients listening to lyrics such as:
Oh baby, I need your love tonight
Oh baby, you know I need your love tonight
I want to make love to you darling
While the moon is shining bright
while I was massaging them. And Doctor Brown - well, I don't imagine the kind of healing he is doing is the kind that goes on in my massage room....
For me the music is an integral part of the treatment, and I try to choose music to match the outcome I am hoping for. Thats not the kind of outcomes I am after .. lol!
But if it works for you, thats great!

Answers:

Healistic Hi I have no lyrics on my copy, it is an instrumental?

Answers:

Healistic Where on earth did you get those lyrics from?
And what has doctor brown to do with an instrumental by fleetwood mac?
Music IMO is there for relaxing your client prior to the treatment. I have been using Albatross along with many other instrumentals since the 1970's without any complaints from any of my clients or students.

Answers:

Trow Oh - are you talking about the track? I was listening to the album!
Crossed wires, sorry!

Answers:

hemelgirl my favourite is "The way of Ch'i" by Stewar Lun
I find that so relaxing - I am chilled out by the end of the massage, never mind the client
also The River by Nigel Shaw

hollily i have the local radio as my background, it can also throw pointers to converse about :)

Answers:

philbo When performing pre-event massage in the changing rooms at my rugby club before a match we blast out the Foo Fighters and Prodigy just to get the lads in the mood.
However in clinic I never have it, it puts you off your stroke and you can't converse with your clinet professionally.

cola Manose

Answers:

spiritualhappiness I use tranquility music, mind, body, and spirit cd, with use of Relaxation music.
No singing, just the use of instruments, I find it allows me to go deeper, and thus the client goes deeper into relaxation.

Answers:

BIA main advice is not to use something with running water in the sound track, for fairly obvious reasons.
Beyond that, something relaxing and inoffensive
