Reiki to someone who has passed away
I would appreciate any thoughts on this................
A work colleage also a friend and fellow Reiki practicioner passed away suddenly this week. I feel a strong need to send him some Reiki and wonder is he asking for it. I have lit candles for him which I suppose is intent in itself but just wondering is it ok to send him healing. I Feel a bit "lost" at the moment. Have any of you had experience of this?

Firstly my condolences are extended to you, may your friend now walk with the Angels.
If you feel a strong need to send Reiki to him ~ do so, it's really as simple as that, we send out Reiki for all sorts of reasons often without question, so this should be no different, if it feels right to you ~ do it :)

Also, of course, if YOU need some self-healing Reiki because of your friend's passing, that's OK too :)

my friends father who i was very close to passed away a couple of months ago. i sent him reiki at the funeral. as the coffin was going thru the curtains i sent the distance symbol and imagined him reaching the gates and sent him love and healing. i also sent it to my friend and his mother obviously but yes go for it
