Help!! reiki and leukemia
Hi Everyone
Not been a goodweekend for me, hope yours was better.
My neighbour, in her early 30's has been diagnosed with leukemia!:([sm=cry.gif] She goes into hospital next week to begin treatment
She has twice had hodgkins, bone marrow transplants etc, which was before she moved in next door to me, and came through it but with this leukemia they are only giving her a 10 to 20% chance.
I have offered to give her Reiki to give her some relaxation / release from the stress she's facing, but i have never given Reiki to anyone with Cancer, hence my question
Can anyone give me any advice, tips, help

Sorry to hear about your neighbour but she is lucky to have you living next door. Reiki will help to enhance the positive benefits of her treatment and medication and can help her emotionally through this worrying time. If you use the intent that she receives the best possible outcome then you can't go wrong! She will probably appreciate that Reiki is no-invasive after all the other things she will have to endure, and human touch is a wonderful thing for anyone suffering in any way.
Just be the good friend that you are and I am sure others here will add to your care by sending her Reiki too, I know I am.

I think i went into panic mode! I've given her reiki before so why should it change!

I think you were a little nervous about treating your neighbour, Just do your usual good work, connect state your intention that she receives what she needs then get your head out of the way and let it flow
