Which nail course ?
Hi
I am really confused about which nail extention course to do. Could anyone tell me if they have done a home learn course with the nail trainer and what they thought of it.
Thanks
Truly.

I have just completed a nail technology diploma at my local college along with my level 3 beauty therapy, it may be worth seeing what your local college offers you. Our college offers full courses as well as individual units, so you can do just gel nails as an exampleif that is all you wanted to do, or the full course.
Doing the nail technology course along side my beauty course was ideal for me, I dont think I would have learnt my skill from a days course which was offered at my local beauty wholesaler, the course was spread out through the year, buti had already done manicure & pedicure in level 2 beauty so didnt have to do the full year, From christmas i did nail art on a tuesday evening until now, and from March i did artificial nails every thursday evening until tonight! just finished with a distinction! [sm=food-smiley-004.gif]and feeling proud!
I have seen some good results from a couple of people who did the home trainer course, but I havent any advice on this as dont actually know of anyone who learnt this way.
Let us know how you get on.

Hi
Thanks for the replys and your help. I have now decide and gone for the college course which doesn't start until January but I think may be better for me with a tutor to ask if any probs, it's a 20 week course, looking forward to it, I will try and let you know how I get on. Well done Sas on your results ,let me know how you get on with them when you finish college. Forgot to say my course is acrylic extensions but also covers gel and sculturing.
