Mayan Caliza Stone
Just come back from Mexico where i bought a pendant that i was told was Mayan Caliza. It is a beautiful turqouize colour with white whirls/cloud shapes in it. Can anyone tell me more about this stone?

anyhow the word
caliza means Limestone and mayans used a lot of limestone in carving buildings amulets etc the culture at edzna mexico. ther eis also monuments in uxmal
has three types of components: grains, headquarters and cement.
some pendants i have heard of being limeston at BC 200-200 A.D Nayarit,Colima,Jalisco for instance also. mainly frogs and toads.
hope that is ok.
oh and maya blue azal maya is present in , , Jaina, and even in some Colonial Convents.

It is a very beautiful stone and I have a worry stone I was given made from this. I like to keep it in my bedroom.
