Aromatherapy student with eczema
I have a friend who is doing an aromatherapy and reflexology courses. One of her fellow students has eczema and a serious hygiene problem. All the other students are now refusing to to be treated by this particular student.
Any suggestions please.

I would hope that by now the tutor would be aware of this problem
to my mind, this is the person who should deal with the problem not the students

Without meaning to be rude, it sounds like your class are equating eczema with lack of hygiene. Eczema is caused by an allergen, much the same as asthma. You cannot 'catch' eczema from another person, nor is it caused by being unhygienic. As someone who suffers from eczema, I would be deeply offended if my class had refused to practice on me because of an allergy, and would have been concerned at how they would cope when working with clients withallergies.
As for the hygiene issue, you will need to find a way tobroach the subject gently with this person. They are probably unaware and will bedismayed to find they are the subject of class discussion.
