Hand reflexology - what if the hand was contra-indicated as well as the foot on same side ?

What would you do if you found out from consultation that your client has a broken right foot and righthand would you still treat the left hand and foot anyway? What about bringing about balance in the body and systems? sue x

Answers:

 Hi Sue. No problem with this. The right hand is the cross reflex for the left hand, and the right foot is the cross reflex for the left foot. The foot and the hand are also referral areas for each other on the same side (double cross reflex). Just work on the right side and and healing pathways on the left will be opened (ref. embryology). When the bones knit you can begin to work gently on the left side to restore flexibilty, nerve and blood supply, and most important eliminate mental and physical trauma.
Keep good notes and research your anatomy - you will probably attract clients with a similar condition and then you can become an expert in this area!
