Myrrh oil properties

Hi,
[align=left]Myrrh was believed to have originated from the tears of Myrrha - daughter of Cinyrus, the king of Cyprus who had metamorphosed into a shrub, according to Greek mythology. Greek soldiers were said to take a vial of myrrh into battle to help stem the blood flow when injured.
The oil contains one of the highest levels of sesquiterpenes which has a direct effect on the hypothalamus, amygdala and pituitary gland located at the base of the brain. This area of the brain controls the emotions, including happiness, sadness, hunger, satiety and sexual desire....
However please note that it is believed that it can either stimulate or reduce sexual desire depending upon the mental wellbeing at the time. So before using, meditate on your desired outcome which should help to direct the energies.
Hope this helps.
