parrafin waxing
Hi, can anyone tell me what parrafin wax treatments are ? thanks

After you have soaked your feet in a foot bath, you put parafin cream on your feet - put plastic bags on your feet and then put your feet on a foot vibrator with heat for about 15 minutes MAX and it softens your feet. Then you should put white, cotten socks on. White so the light gets through, cotten so the air gets through. It does make the feet soft.
I bought a foot parafan machine. I also have a separate Conair foot bath. You can get them at most drug stores or discount stores. They're pretty cheap.
I get a pedicure once a month. And once a week, I give myself a foot parafin to keep them soft.
Why pay someone $15 when you can buy a parafin machine for about $25 or less?
Doesn't make financial sense.

All of that is true, but you can also have paraffin wax incorporated into your facial treatment. It's popular to use during an anti-aging treatment. A therapist can apply a product such as a serum or a treatment masque or even both, then apply a piece of gauze over your face, then a layer of the paraffin wax. It feels soooo so warm and nice and it helps with product penetration.

I don't know anything about parrafin waxing, but was interested by Detox User's statement of...
White is the most reflective colour so if you are expecting light to get through the sock from the outside then it's actually more likely to be reflected by white. I would have thought ideally you would want a fabric that is black on the outside to absorb as much light as possible and then white on the inside to radiate as much of that light as possible into the foot. Either that or just don't wear socks. ;)
