why sets of three
Hi all,
New member with a quick question - why are sets of three used for most techniques? Never asked the question on my 2 day course (only do IHM on family and friends).
Is there any harm in doing more - some people enjoy some techniques more than others, especially on the head and I feel they may enjoy it more if certain parts of the massage were extended.
I do the massage as much for enjoyment as therapeutic.
Thanks.
Topsy.

Hi Topsy
In the IHM diploma course which I did at the end of the treatment we would ask the client if there was any specific are which they would like us to return to i.e neck, shoulders ect and then we would spend extra time in that area.
