Where are the Doctors?
I was just trying to track someone down in the members list & happened to notice that there are several doctors registered on HP, but very few, if any posts by any of them. [sm=scratchchin.gif]
You are most welcome!
And your views are as welcome as anyone else's and on issues of health, then probably more so. HP forums is, of course, about discussing issues of health and you may be better placed to advise on certain issues that arise. :eek:
Just because many members support Complementary Health Care, that doesn't mean that they are anti-orthodox medicine. Health is where you find it & there are many on here searching for it. And it could do wonders for communications with what is effectively two sides of the same coin - called health! :D
Also, your input could make for some lively debate! [sm=dance.gif]
And encourage more confidence in some of those that feel a little intimidated when talking to their own doctor. :)
You can always leave out some of your details off your profile if you are concerned about any repercussions or register again with a more annonimous username. Just let us know so we can delete your old profile.
Just a thought - no commitment req'd - come & go as you please, like everyone else. ;)

Hi all you shy MDs and coy Physicians,
as a Moderator with a 'Scientific' CV, I add my request to that of Andrew that you be not afraid to contribute.
I/we know that sadly the mainstream Medical Circles of power, do not put much store in some of the theries or isms found here and that to openly associate yourself by name with some propounded views would not be, lets say conjusive to rapid progression in your profession, but your profiles can be as brief as the rules allow and your true identities be hidden.
So please, if there are those amongst you who want to contribute your profesional knowledge to say an ailments thread, then please do so, saying that you are a Doctor and nothing more.
