Free simple method to relieve any kind of pain

Dear Gang Recently I explored the the internet amd there are many references to the theta brainwave state (attained by staring at your tv when turned to a non broacasting channel (make sure there is no bleedthru or by unhooking the cable or by I think hooking up the vcr and turning tv to channel 4 and then turning the sound down all the way)creates endorphins (the antipain chemical in the brain) and relieves pain..--also many references to it having strong immune stimulation properties
Let us know what it does for pain of any kind Thanks Steve Lord

sounds similar to brainwave harmonics which works on same principles and i have to admit i use these cds that you can buy from world of alternatives and i would prefer to use a cd than to mess about with TV cables.! not meaning to be blunt but Cds seem the safer option.

Dear Tammy, The CD you refer to if its like the rest I have read about takes the person through other brainwave states too which do not have the antipain effect . Also stareing at the tv static is much more effective that listening to it-I turn the sound off. And finally what causes the snow on the TV is cosmic rays so it says on the internet which we have been exposed to since we were on the planet and thus we have evoled a beneficial response to (according to 2 books by a University professor wh awassed over 100 studies on the subject. I cant rule out the possibility thenth that the character of the tv snow therefore may be different from any oher metod of creating theta (for example ther are many frequencies in the theta range) or has properties in addition to those caused by theta.
I know from trying it that it rapidy reduces or eliminates pain and has other obvious health benefits which I can detail but I created this thread for people with pain to try it and report if it works for them. Thanks Steve Lord

PS Tammy, The easiest way to get the static is to just turn the channels to a nonbroadcating channel where there is no trace of a picture but if your tv doesnt get that at certain timesof the day the other 2 methods can be done and they are not dangerous. Steve

Hi It would also I think be helpful to those who are bored staring at the static that one can get 80% or so of the same effect if the static is just in the field of wiew of the person (in your periphereal vision) and you dont even have to pay any attention to it and cn things , even watchanother tv. Thanks Steve

thanks Steve. I am in pain with a sore shoulder ligament but i will give it a go, thanks for explaining the difference, i will report back. i think our telly goes to the static screen when we turn it on initially, its all fuzzy is this what you mean?
bizarre method but i will give it a go, i used to do this as a kid! with my face right up against the tv!

hi, i just tried it and have to say no effect at all! the noise you could say is white noise, which puts the body, brain into a hypnotic state which when done could produce a relief in pain stimulus. The CDs i have to say bring about a similar effect as i have the whole range of them and have never felt so good after using them. They work on the same principle and I have to also back my initial statement up that they are very similar methods but the cds i prefer to use. I am not knocking what you are saying at all so please dont think i am I am merely stating that the CDs offer the same methods and they do. The sounds relax muscles, taking the body into a very relaxed state, i have felt muscle spasms as the muscles and tendons release as our body goes into a deep state of relaxation. The TV method may work for others so good luck to those who want to try it, nothing ventured etc, but I will keep to my CDs. That said, as i have a bad shoulder i will keep trying it to see if it does have any lasting affect.
