Migraine
My husband always complained about serious headache…..i never thought that it was serious. It is only when we visited the doctor that he told us that this can be serious can it come sin the form of attack. When my husband was suffering I thought he was pretending so as not to do any work. Thanks god that finally we went to see a doctor. The doctor has asked my husband to use Buccastem in case of migraine attack. He was explaining that the attack can be prevented by the use of beta-blockers. I hope it will….he has already started the prevention treatment. If you have any suggestion an advice then please forward it to me…..i want to help my husband…..i do not want him to think that I do not care for him.

I am glad your husband has found some help.
as well as this, would he consider trying something like EFT?
(see mind therapies forum) EFT can often be used to prevent or alleviate migraine attacks

Jabba The Hut I used to suffer with migraine attacks alot - they would floor me completely, sometimes for days. Vomiting, the works. When they were at their peak, I would have maybe two days respite and then have another 'attack' - this could go on for weeks. 5 years ago I tried acupuncture, and can honestly say that it changed my life. I have maybe had 10 'attacks' since then, but each time, I have contacted the acupuncturist, and gone for a 'top up' treatment. I still get the occasional headache, if I am overtired, or have eaten something inappropriate, but nothing compared to the nightmare of migraine. I tried all the medications going, but nothing touched it at that time.

JBeck My partner suffers from terrible Migraine attacks. She cannot have any chocolate or cheese until the evening (stimulants). Wine and chinese food are particularly bad for bringing on an attack, another huge factor is stress and lack of sleep. It's not very nice to see someone suffer when there's nothing you can do, I hope he has some luck with treatment.
