Bicarbonate of soda
Hi,
Just thought i would share a tip i got from one of my case study clients: You can use Bicarbonate of soda as deodorant! And its true -it really works! (you still sweat as its not an anti-perspirant, but no smell at all!!). I was glad to discover this as i always worry about the chemicals in underarm deodorants.

Hi
New on here, and noticed this subject, I also use Bicarb but use one by Viola Organics which smells lovely, it has some essential oils added to it so you feel and smell fresh, it really is great, I will never use a chemical one again

LavenderRose and for general itchiness or chicken pox - put some in the bath water. Can also gently rub on the dry powder. My daughter found that it was better than calamine lotion!

daisychain if you add some essential oils to it you can also add it to your shoes and trainers, leave the powder in overnnight and then tip out.
also you can use it to sprinkle over your carpets, leave for a few hours and hoover it up, also deoderises your hoover.
add a little to the greasy bits of your hair as a dry shampoo.
you can wash your fridge out with it too.
meridianmoon gave me a crystalblock that you wet and rub under your pits for a natural deoderant. It works! But may try the bicarb.

Summeran Lemon Juice rubbed under the armpits is also supposed to work to stop odour.
Bicarbonate can also be used to get rid of urine smells in mattresses.

spinal music Wonderful though it is, bicarbonate of soda is still a chemical. It is sodium bicarbonate or NaHCO3.
All matter is basically chemical and can be put together from a periodic table.
