Kombucha Tea
Dear all,
Well I am new to this site but it looks to be very informative and have already been reading some interesting posts. I wanted to bring peoples attention to a drink that I have recently found that I feel has really helped me with some medical issues.
I have suffered from digestion problems for years and have also often been under the weather especially in the winter months. Last october a friend of mine recommended I try Kombucha tea which is a probiotic drink that helps to boost the immune system and aid the bodies natural processes.
I have been drinking it ever since and it has really helped me to feel well and I no longer suffer from stomach pains after eating. All the way through the winter I was waiting to get a cold or the flu but it never happened!
I would love to hear from any others who have tried it to see if they have had any similar experiences and for anyone who would like to try I recommend this site.
Kind regards
Ed Inett

hello edinett,
I was introduced to Kombucha tea many years ago by a work colleague. Her cousin actually had a Kambucha 'mother mushroom' from which she made the tea. I had a glass of it and it was wonderful! Sparkling and so refreshing, I actually felt my energy rise lol.
She ceremoniously gave me one of the 'mother's ' babies and told me how to make the tea etc and harvest the 'babies' etc. She also said that when it was no longer making tea I was to bury it with respect back into the Earth.
I followed all her instructions but unfortunately I didn't have the same success. I found out recently that you can buy it bottled from Tesco's. I would recommend it to anyone who might be curious!

Reikiangel,
Many thanks for your reply I hear that it can be quite difficult to make Kombucha tea yourself and so it is great that it is now beingsold in bottle form! I will try Tescos and recommend Gourmet Kombucha's site for those who want to buy online
Kind regards

Hi,
Making kombucha tea is not too difficult, like reikiangel a frend gave me a mushroom and this started off my production of kombucha which worked well. I drank it for a while and then stopped. Can't really say if I remember the benefits of it as it was almost 10 years ago, but I would definitely give it a go again.
