Underweight but lost it in the wrong places!!
hello! i am 17yrs old weighing 7st 12 and 5ft 6 and i am under weight by 2pounds which is good considering a month ago i was 7st5. Although i am under weight my body seems to store fat around the back of my hips and no where else! this makes me look out of proportion as the uper part of my body looks thin and unattractive while in the hips i boldge outwards which is a real burden for me because when i think about putting on weight i think it will go straight to my hips ( the only place i have fat)
does any one know:
Why i store fat only around the back of my hips?
Is it likely to be a thing i'll grow out of?
and can i shift it?

try doing more upper body exercises to build up muscles in your chest, back and arms - that will balance out the proportions! also look at your food intake. are you eating enough for a growing body?

Thank DarrenFollowsThePath you for the reply and the tips i think i will try toning myself up! and well yes i do eat 3 meals a day..usually porrige in the morning...something like a toasty for lunch and chicken for dinner..portions are not that big and my snacks are usually healthy ones such as fruit...if not then usually chocolate or icecream!...would you think that is enough or should i be eating more! I also do a fair bit of walking a day!
