Fainting episode
Hello, I have been a bit concerned over my own health this week. I suffer from asthma, i also take medication for high blood pressure, and for a gastric ulcer, which is much better.
Last week i started getting pains in my back, and my breathing started going off, i increased my dose of inhaler, and doubled up on vitamin c.
By this monday i had no option but to go and see my gp, and it turned out to be a chest infection, and was given anti-biotics, which i was reluctant to take however i have not had any for five years, so i have taken them. My breathing has improved, and the pains have eased. However last night i felt faint( i have fainted before, due to low blood pressure). after a few minutes it got worse, i told my wife and sat down and i did faint, i came round after a few seconds, but still felt as if i would pass out again, my wife lifted my legs up above my head, and after a short while felt much better. Later i checked my blood pressure on my monitor and it was low, so i have stopped taking my blood pressure tablet.
What do you think please?

I think you should see your GP asap - going cold turkey with BP medication is not a good idea.
