Stammering
Hi
I just wondered if anyone has any ideas on how i can help my little girls stammer with Reflexology, apart from using a Solar Plexus hold to calm her.. She has had it intermitantly since she was 3. She can be fine for a few months then i comes back again. It gets so bad that sometimes she cant even speak. A speach therapist has seen her but at the time her speach had improved so they said she didn't need any therapy. Its bad again now and its heart breaking trying to listen to her talking and she gets frustrated. I am not sure what triggers it off. The school are keeping an eye on her and will review her in February.

I just have to tell everyone how happy i am. We have had the most amazing week. The stammer has not been around. It is so wonderful to see my daughter look so happy and be able to communicate fluently and without that anxious look on her face. It is so horrible to see your own child suffering.
We had some friends round for dinner today and usually she dosn't really want to get invloved but just runs around amusing herself. Today was fantastic. She was engaging in conversation, she cleared the dining table and sat and played games with us. It was absolutely amazing, words fail me. It brings tears to my eyes sitting here thinking about it.
She got very distressed and was sobbing yesterday when she had stayed at her cousins and her cousin had broken her doll. I thought this would affect it, but no. So i am still none the wiser as to what triggers it or what stops it. I know that it could come back again, but i am praying that it doesn't.

Just curious to find out, did your daughter take the flower essence which tigress suggested?Or hadreflexologytreatments?Or did you do anything at all?
