Highly recommended
Didn't know where to post this - I just wanted to recommend the Natural Crystal deodorants that are available in Health Shops. They are not anti-perspirants, which are not good for us anyway, but they really really work, and last forever.

Hi Marnie, The deodorant rock looks like a clear quartz crystal (that's the closese I can describe it to). Ask at the counter, they'll know what it is.
I do use mine but I did notice that in extremely hot weather, it isn't as effective as I would have hoped. It's ok in the colder months but I must admit to using normal deodorant during the very hot weather we had.

Hi Marnie
The one I bought is called Pit Rok and it worked all through the heatwave. There are others. It cost about £5 but it will last for over a year.

Dear Gilly and all
Glad to be of service. Gilly - I have been using a tongue cleaner for years: bought it in India, it's a bendy thin bit of metal that I use to scrape my tongue (gently) after cleaning my teeth. Apparently it removes toxins (certainly does remove a lot of gunge). Is this the same thing you use? (I saw one advertised in the Innovations catalogue once for a huge sum of money. In India they cost about 15p a time. Maybe I should bring a load back with me!)

I have to agree with this - I've had a Tawas Crystal Deodorant for about 12 months now and it's superb.
