Strange Dizziness...

Hi All
When I got up this morning, I started to walk and felt really dizzy and unco-ordinated as if I was about to fall over at any point. I still feel sort of the same now it's really weird. I did two things yesterday that I don't normally do, these are:
1. I went to 2 yoga classes and a pilates class (I don't usually do this much in 1 day)
2. I had a cup of coffee (I don't usually drink it)
Do you think any of these activities could have caused this? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Many Thanks

Hi Donna,
That's happened to me a few times. I went to the doctors after the first time, and he said it was a fainting spell, although I'd never fainted before in my life. Perhaps you got out of bed too fast and it raised your blood pressure.
And sometimes the morning after a good yoga session I've felt like I've got a hangover, my teacher reckons it's with all the toxins leaving your body, in your case double the amount, so I'd try drinking loads of water instead of the coffee. That's coming from a guywho can't do anything in the morning without cup of coffee first.

I think it's some sort of inner ear thing to be honest I just cant seem to balance. Even when im sitting still it's like im moving. Kinda like being incredibly drunk I think although I haven't drank alsohol in years, maybe it's a flashback, lol.
I went to the gym today and nearly collapsed while I was laying down to work the abs, it's not like me at all.

Hi Donna
I really don't want to alarm you but I do think you should go to your doctor about this. It sounds very similar to something that happened to a friend of mine years ago: it was diagnosed in her case as a viral infection of the inner ear and it seemed that there was nothing to be done except wait for it to go away but I remember that she had to stay in bed for some time. I do hope it proves to be something other than this but better make sure.
Wishing you all the very best.

PS Sorry to be gloomy.

Thanks Sunanda
I will make an appointment to see gp but as is usually the case, these things tend to get better by the time the appointment comes around.
Will just Reiki it for now I think don't know what else to do.

Do you think perhaps you are overdoing the exercise? It sounds to me to be rather a lot. I'd advise a rest, some good food and relaxation.
Hope you feel better soon,
Sharon.

Answers:

Hi Sharon
No I don't think Ive overdone the exercise, I am used to working out a lot, just not three classes in the same day, lol.
It's definitely some sort of infection or disturbance because Im all bunged up now and feeling crappy aswell. I refuse to take antibiotics though so it's plenty of rest and Reiki for me.
Thanks for all your replies.

I have just been recovering from this caused by a viral infection. Rest, plenty of water and healing (reiki etc)
It has been over a week and I am still a little dizzy so I hope you are better soon!
