This is a little [sm=offtopic.gif]but i have to ask.........
Why don't drug companies put more funding into researching natural alternatives to orthadox medicine i.e. healing plant substances, homeopathy and herbs?
It just seems like common sense to use naturally occuring substances which are renewable, rather than manufacturing medicines from synthetic materials. (IMO)

I heard somewhere (was it on HP??) that the reason this doesn't happen is that it would put drug companies and a lot of doctors out of business, that actually, certain people (doctors) don't want alternative therapies to become widespread because it would put the medical profession out of business ... something like that, maybe someone can elaborate???

Well Fatcat, if that is true then its a very sad state of affairs indeed. Putting money and profits over the health of humans and the planet can only lead to disaster. Its disgusting![:@]

They have been doing it for years! It's about time we took our power back.
A technician in a lab discovered that a substance in apricot kernels attacked cancer cells. He excitedly went up to see the CEO expecting an awesome response, to be told to keep it under wraps.
This is just one story of I'm sure many that are out there.

Content of the one I received yesterday, concerning safety of a vaccine, prompts me to suggest we all exercise a little caution around not stepping over the boundary into political discussion, since inevitably governments can be involved in some of the decisions made. ;)
Generally, though, the newsletters contain a lot of hints and tips from readers about natural remedies which they say have helped the symptoms of a wide range of conditions. Recommended. :)
