Quick relief for a stuffed up nose?
Ive fallen ill, and it started in the throat. Maybe its the change in temp. I get colds too often.
The Dr. checked my blood, and tested it for everything, concluding it was all ok.
I have problems with malabsorption too, I am frail for my age. It doesnt make sense with the amount of food I eat (people comment I eat more than regular people).
I dont eat dairy, egg, white wheat, orwhite sugar . I have eaten a bit of white sugar lately though.
Anyways.....how can I relieve my stuffy nose? Is there any massage or something? Like the neck or anything like that? What kinds of foods are good? How can I prevent this stuff from happening all the time? I eata good balanced amount of food.I think the reason I got sickwas working in the heavy rainfall. After a while you get sick of it. I then tried one of those magical spells for sea sickness bywritingthe symboldown on a piece of paper and putting it in my right pocket(from Abramelin the mage). That was the day I got sick, I knew I shouldn't be meddling in those magics, there was an evil part in the book too (I got bad feelings from it).
Peace,
el.

Oh, El, you are a one!
As far as I know the best cure for a stuffed up nose is.....patience! It will go away in its own good time. Bless you (that's for when you sneeze).
Hope you feel better soon. It's such a drag being ill but try to focus on something else.
Much love

Hi
Try steam inhaling with Olbas Oil, or if you can't get that, use eucalyptus or tea tree in the morning and lavender at night. Also put a few drops in your bath (dilute the oils first). Perhaps take echinacea and garlic for your immume system. Extra vitamin C. Drink lemon and ginger tea. Keep warm, rest, avoid sudden changes of temperature. Positivity enhances the immune system so when you're feeling better, lighten up and have some fun.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

Definitely recommend Olbas oil for the stuffy nose. Also at the first sign of a virus coming on,some vitamin C and zinc supplements, and Dr Stuart's Echinchea Tea into which I put a teaspoon of Active + Manuka Honey (the higher the + factor, the more active the honey).
A course of ear candling will also help with the stuffiness and any residual cattarh.

Hi El,
Try gently roasted lovage seeds - it's an old Indian remedy that my mum has used for many years. You can roast the seeds in a dry frying pan for a minute or two until you get the aroma of the seeds. Then tie up the seeds in a hankie or bit of cloth and inhale for as long as needed. The aroma of the seeds will gently but effectively help open up your nasal passages. My partner used to find this remedy effective at relieving some of the symptoms of hayfever until he sorted out the root prob.
Hope you feel better soon.
