Drug Treatment for Candida
Nutritional Ignorance Will Sabotage Treatment 13 September 2002
Any pharmacological treatment for Candida that does not address the fiber depleted carbohydrate ingestion of the affected patient is a prescription for recurrence of the underlying infection.
Without restriction of these simple sugars the yeast cells will have fuel to spur their growth that invariably allows them to survive the barrage of biochemicals that are directed at them. The drugs actually worsen the situation as they promote the development of resistant strains.
Restriction of all grains and most underground vegetables is typically required to effectively provide symptomatic relief of recurrent Candida infections. Additionally, the regular ingestion of freshly crushed garlic cloves will provide significant quantities of allicin that has been shown in multiple trials to provide a less toxic, less expensive and far more effective alternative.

another way to stop and take a yeast infection away is to allow direct sunlight into the vaginal area! it works!!!
also drinking raw apple cider vinager helps keep the system clean. drink a half cup a day (it may be mixed with honey) until symptoms are gone.
i will never take meds again! i had a yeast infection about 15 years ago..took meds then got a bactirial infection. took meds for bactirial infection then got another yeast infection then took more meds for the yeast...finally it went away.
i'm just not a fan for "white man" medicine! and thank heavens i haven't had one since.

The article itself was refering to systemic candida infection, although most often the only overt symptom that someone has systemic candidias, is urethral &/or vaginal candida/thrush. [:@]
Re. your turn of phrase - , although it raised a smile, being a white man myself, then I could take issue with it. :D
I'm sure we all catch your drift, but maybe the expression needs a little up dating. ;)
