I screwed around in High School a lot and am not going away but going to a Community College. I don't think I have regretted anything more than that, I just i wish I was going away. Talking to some of my friends as they get ready to leave for College really woke me up and I regret it so much. I mean meeting new intelligent people, meeting people with the same interests, shit I'm stuck here for another year or two and it sucks. Seeing the same damn people I saw in High School, because most are going to Community College.
Who transferred out of Community to a four year.. And did it turn out okay? Because right now, I feel like complete shit. I did a complete 180 from the last 4 years of High School from this summer. This summer I've been reading a ton and matured a lot while the past 4 years I was a idiot and wanted to live in town the rest of my life. Now I want to see the world, meet new people, etc. Ah, it really is true. Work your ass off in school. I should've listened.
But to those that are leaving.. When you guys heading out? You pumped?

Anways, I leave the 25th and am pretty pumped. Can't wait to actually take classes that interest me.

Only thing is, I'm not sure if my classes will transfer. keep track of what text books you use so that you can use that as leverage to transfer courses...and if all the credits dont transfer at first, talk to a couselor to see if you can get some leeway since many courses are essentially the same but with different names/titles
i just moved into a townhouse i leased for 12 months. Got it with my friend. It's massive, three bathrooms, washer dryer, dishwasher, everything. livin large this year

I packed a lot of my shit tonight. I have to check in tomorrow to get my key and move in most of my shit, but I have to go back on another day to bring my big ass TV and minifridge. My mom's helping me tomorrow, and there's no way she's lifting my TV or fridge by herself, so I'll have to wait until I have someone to help.

It's not hard to meet new people and experience different things in life, you don't have to necessarily move out of state to experience life. I agree but when you just get out of High School and you hear the conversations of which Dorm room someones living in, which school... And when they ask you? You say your going to a Community College. It's nothing embarrassing it's more of a disappointment to myself.
I know College is hard work added with a lot of fun. It's just that I would like to go to College with fellow peers and grow and mature with others my age. It's not too big of a deal. I'm more just a little disappointed that I hear everyone talking about leaving, and I'm staying. It's somber.. Thats it

I've finally left Southern California and relocated to Northern Cali to start law school on the 27th.
Thank God it's a buyers market for real estate because the Bay Area is always very expensive, but the slump in home sales has made it slightly easier to find a nice house at a somewhat decent price.
Moving in this Thursday. Having a kegger at the new house on Saturday. Good times good times. :)

I'm getting ready to leave on Thrusday. Its about an hour and a half away from home, so it will be weird. Everyone says that it is much funner than high school, which seems obvious, so I'm not worried about it sucking. But it sucks that after high school, you never see your friends as often as you used to, every goes their seperate ways, and things change. Its good and bad. So I have mixed feelings about it. But I see where you are coming from about comm college. I personally see it as less of a feat to go to a community college. I'm not trying to be an ass, and I could be completely off, but to me it seems the people going to them are the ones that slacked in highschool (seems to be your case). No disrespect, but I see where you are coming from about being dissapointed in yourself. But on the bright side, you are saving an arm and a leg. 14 grand per year????? HOLY SHIT!!!!

First time actually getting the experience of University Campus life yesterday as I visited one of my friends. I had such a good time, people we're all over. I made friends with people I never met(happens alot), had a really good time. I'm so motivated to leave Junior College after a year. I can't wait to start tomorrow so I can start on my path to leave! What a great experience it was. Frat partys, women, cool people.. Wow. If I knew I'd be wanting to do this freshman year I'd be kicking ass in school. Oh how I would love to go back and try.
