im trying to bulk before school starts, and am currently living with myself and don't wnat to learn/bother with cooking, so im stuck with eating out everyday. what should i do? i drink 2 homemade weight gainers per day (400 cals/each). what about the rest of my meals? chiptole/subway/fast food, or any other suggestions?

What do you mean by learn to cook? The majority of meals I've seen on these boards require little experience to prepare. A lot of people even make it easier when cooking things like chicken by using something like a George Foreman grill. Is it really you not knowing how to cook, or rather the "bother" that is driving you to fast food meals?

Well...eating at home and and cooking does not have to be too difficult. In addition, it will be cheaper than eating out for every meal.
There are lots of simple and tasty recipes that are very easy to prepare on this forum and all over the internet.
But, to answer your question: If I have to eat out, I try to eat somewhere like subway or Quiznos.

Here is a quick example on how easy it is to cook...well, food.
canned tuna - get a can opener. Open the can drain the juice get a fork and eat it
vegetales (frozen or raw) - cut them up so they fit in a pot of water, put that pot on a stove (with the heat on) wait until the water boils, turn off the stove, drain gthe water ligtly season and eat.

Heres the layout man- Im heading to college as a freshman at 19 myself this fall on a plan:
1.) Make yourself a list: Nuts, Cans of Tuna, Granola, Jerky, - Mini-fridge you can store fruits- skim milks- yogurts- cottage cheese. Keep these things in your dormroom for easy access.
2.) Make a supplement list: Plenty of protein, creatine, casein, flax, fish oil, CLA- and what ever else fits your plan
3.) Do yourself a favor and try to skip the drinking for a month or two- 30-60 days or more- what ever fits your bulk or cut- diet/workout plan. Drinking hurts fatloss- creates fat storage. Stops protein synthesis in muscles. Hurts thinking and brain function. You tend to ruin your diet in 1 night of drinking heavy along with the bad food choices that come along with it.
4.) If you can try to make good choices in the cafeteria. Chickens, Fish, Beef, Scrambled eggs, Salad bar, yogurts, fruits, veggies. Measure some stuff so you can eyeball what ever you have in a cafeteria your life will be easier. They will do healthy choices for you. Just eat the right amount.
5.) Make sure you write out a solid workout plan and schedual times around your classes to hit the gym for lifting and then cardio. Or you could run in the morning and lift later in the day - and do even more cardio. But make a word or excell table - print several copys out that you can fill out every day- including a fillable food log- with a list of goals.
6.) If your trying to gain weight make sure you eat eat eat, clean, but eat a lot all day long. Take Casein every night before you goto sleep, and optional in the am when you wake up. Stick with a fast-digesting protein such as whey ( 100% ON Whey- Syntha-6 - Muscle Milk - Pro Complex)- Take one before your workout and absolutely take one after- so plan to have a bottle to store it in if your dorm isnt close. Also take your creatine pre-workout and if your loading post workout.

All in all you don't want to gain the wrong weight by partying all weekend/ or week for that matter. With the fluids and also the food that comes with it. Also the 2am pizza runs won't help. You have to be SUPER strict for a little while to reach your goals. So to gain mass- lots of protein- lots of calories- good fats- - just eat smart: It's tough to eat good in college unless you have an apartment. Then you can actually cook which may cost you a little more.
All of this is just suggestion for when school starts for you : BUT! there is no excuse really that you can't cook your own meals or buy healthy pre-cooked foods or w/e - Fast food is not the best option usually- you don't need it - and dont have to have it. Subway is probably the best and thats still the worst. Also In the end it will cost you more in the wallet as well as the belly and heart. Rethink it!

first of all, your weight gainer is only 400 calories. that is the worst weight gainer shake ever. mines is easily 800 calories+.
also, boiling eggs and decanning tuna isnt as hard as you think.

I have never heard anything so ridiculous in my life as to "Can't be arsed to cook(Or be bothered to learn).
You can afford to eat out all the time, yet you couldn't afford a George foreman?
Go to the supermarket pick a meat you really like, stick that bitch on the George foreman grill for 7-10 mins and voila! Whack some veggies ina pan of boiling water for 10 mins.....WOAH DUDE you got yourself a nice looking tasty meal!!!!!!

You are never going to gain muscle properly by eating out all the time regardless of how much weight gainer you take. You will most likely end up gaining fat only.

ever think of putting oats, milk, peanut butter, whey protein, and fruit into a blender to make a real mans homemade shake
just some suggestions
read over my bodybuilders grocery list.. you can store everything nearly in ur fridge
also my suggestion is at college buy some tupperware and load up in the cafe on clean foods and store in ur fridge and just reheat/cook back at the dorm.. keep it simple and make life easy on urself..
eating out everyday isnt going to make u have a clean diet since mostly all of that is processed.. good luck w/ that
