Starting to train someone check my routine
Any ways im starting to train and was wondering if anyone could check my routine and basically if anything is wrong with let me no I will be very thankful.
Anyway im bout 5 ft 7 and last checked was 183 pounds and i carry a lot of weight.
Mon-Traps and lats (abs)
Tue-Chest (abs)
Wed-Back (abs)
Thu-Arms and shoulders
Fri-Legs ( abs)
Also on mon and wed i play football/soccer which i get a good workout from and after training i hit the punch bag for 20 min apart from football days. my main goal is weight loss then muscle gain as i am aware it cannot be done at the same time. Or do you reckon the weight i am at now it would be better to bulk please advise cheers.

Answer:

Dont do triceps and biceps on the same day.
Here is what to do on the same days and ill explain why for each
Chest and triceps- Basicly everything you do for your chest you work your triceps for so it is best to add a bit of tricep work after chest and then there you go you had a full chest and tricep workout
Back and Biceps- Same as chest and triceps everything you work on your back you feel in your biceps, hell some days i dont even do bicep work because its so sore from my back workouts
Legs and shoulders- No real reason to do this on same day its just this is all that is left to do and i enjoy working them on same day.
Add in your abs anytime but i like to do them on chest and tricep day.
And i ussually do traps on shoulder day.

monday- HIIT for 35 mintues
tuesday- biceps, legs, and shrugs(neck i guess???)
wednesday- HIIT for 35
thursday- back, chest
friday- HIIT for 35
saturday- abs, shoulders, triceps
sunday- rest
this is the routine i planned, i like it, it has worked for me.
