V Diet and using supplements

V Diet and using supplements
V Diet - pretty much in a nutshell, Flax Seed oils, or others and Protein shakes for 20 + days.
Here is my question: I'am currently on Green Mag, Purple Wrath, White Flood, Glycerglow, Orange Triad multi, and Sesamin. Now, I seem to have hit wall and Iam starting to eat a bit more due to not seeing any more gains for now. Iam wondering about this V diet and if I could continue to take the current supplements that iam currently taking with the V Diet? I also have a prescription for Adderal becuase of my ADD. The question is, should I go on the V diet and take the supplements or go on the V diet, get off the supplements and start taking my Adderal again. I got off the Adderal when I started the supplements 30 days ago ( did not want to mix ). Iam curious. iam at 193 lbs and I would like to see myself at 175 in 30 days. I have done a high protein diet in the past and it was great, but it involved mostly tuna and turkey.

Answer:

damn dude, i'd drop ALL those supps and spend the money just on more food. you have a pretty athletic build from your pictures so i'd personally recommend busting your ass even harder in the gym every day and eating sensibly. try if you can to balance out cardio, lifting with proper form and sensible eating(meaning NO dieting!.. dieting is for uninformed fat people and celebrities) Sensible eating is for smart people who maintain an awesome body year-round!

Answer:

appreciate the comment, but you probably do not have the intangibles that come attach to everyday life.
Example:
1. Stress from a 6 figure demanding job and the 7pm - 7am night shift Engineer
2. Stress from a wonderful thing one day to an evil person the next day - a woman, more specifically a wife. Sorry ladies.
3. 2 Beautiful Hyper children, a 4 year old and a 3 year old.
Gaining Mass and muscle is not a problem for me, I work out pretty regularly, cutting is the issue. I was able to do a high protein diet in the past but that was before 1, 2, and 3 came along. The Supplements, they help becuase of my night shift and becuase of the lack of sleep that I get on those 3 days that I do work. Thanks for understanding. Sorry for venting. Ladies, I love you guys when your great and when your evil, just a bit less though.

I have done a high protein diet in the past and it was great, but it involved mostly tuna and turkey. I tried the Vdiet for a couple weeks. I dropped 10lbs (I haven't gained it back since btw). From reading all the threads on t-nation and some here, I found the people that "failed" with it tried to do their own variations. Though I didn't see any difference (personally) from using straight whey or casein blends. But he does recommend using/adding casein protein because it doesn't digest as fast, if you're starting out I would def recommend getting some casein protein.
I personally think you should stick to the plan as stated on t-nation (it's been updated, the newer one allows a bit of peanut butter because of a new concentrated fish oil supplement they created and recommend to use) and not try to add anything else. I'm not sure what your supplements are/what they do, but the only thing I would "add" would be a normal multi vitamin. Anything else (like a creatine or supps not on the list) I would avoid.
As for your ADD medication, I can't help you with that.
