Girlfriend still in highschool.
Girlfriend still in highschool.
I graduated class 07 and my girlfriend is starting her senior yr. I'm goin to a local community college and she's got an Honor's schedule. We're both gonna be really busy with school.
Any advice on makin this relationship survive. A lot of couples seem to be breakin up right now and I don't want to be one of them.
Yes.
- Spend time with her (you know you can)
- Sms/call her
- Support her

- Support her sms?
Yeah, I was thinkin we could study together or somethin. So that would be under the "support her" bullet.
Anyone else?
DUDE you are going to a community college how hard can it be.
txt... msg... thats an sms dude...
Well I'm takin 4 classes, working, and tryin to get near perfect grades for scholarships to transfer to a 4 yr school.
Well I'm takin 4 classes, working, and tryin to get near perfect grades for scholarships to transfer to a 4 yr school. Yeah well you can't work all the time. It's actually better to have some rest in between studies so you have all the time you need.
DUDE you are going to a community college how hard can it be. Whats that have to do with the situation?? Whether its a 4 year or a community, the issue is time.

True that. I don't understand why people think a cc is easy.
Well, text messagin aint an option cuz it costs her a lot of money.
Every response is appreciated so keep em comin guys.
You should be alright, but I'm going to warn you if she goes to a different college or it becomes a long distance relationship--she's going to get a taste of that freedom and college life and she's going to have friends and just random people talking in her ear like "you don't need a b/f, just be free and enjoy college, etc..."
Good luck my man!
Have a talk with her about how your guys' time will be limited by school and or other activities. Tell her you will do your best to spend time with her, and there may come a time when you dont have any to spend with her.
Thanks a lot. That's some positive advice up there.
That brings me to another question. Do I clearly address the issue or just let things explain themselves???
I would clearly address it, if you don't, the relationship may end before you get the chance. And it seems you dont want that, hints why your asking.
Good point.
