Bread/Carbs

Bread/Carbs
What is the best type of bread Whole Wheat or Grain bread...
Basically I want to know what is the best type of bread to use when making a sandwich?

Answer:

IMO there is no "best bread." I buy Pepperidge Farm 100 Whole Grain 15 Grain Bread as of right now, and it's fine. No HFCS, trans fats or bleached flour.
Alot of people will come in here preaching of Ezekial Bread cause it's organic, sprouted bread. I choose PF cause it's much more filling/calorie dense then Ezekial. It's all personal preference.

Answer:

Just make sure the first ingredient isn't enriched flour of any sort. Look for something like stone ground wheat or whole grain.

but yes, any bread with Whole Wheat as the first ingredient is a great source of carbs. as said before, try to avoid HFCS and bleached flour, but if there is a little HFCS waaayyyy down in the ingredient list, don't sweat it and eat up

Basically I want to know what is the best type of bread to use when making a sandwich? I like Oroweat 100% whoweat bread with added Omega-3s. It's 5 bucks for two loaves at costco (or 7 dollars a loaf at safeway)

Answer:

Trader Joe's sprouted wheat's are great....check out their profile.
