Answer:

Hey, SD, Burma must be very exciting. One thing I know is this country likes to live in shell and does not open up to the tourists. Is it right? My dad is burmese so...the country opened up to us...since dad has family and friends there. Without dads old airforce buddy driving us around and giving us the grand tour we would have missed alot of things.
it really is an amazing place! it's just a shame the "government" doesn't give anything back to the people or the country.
they do live in a shell though...the military runs everything. this year they wouldn't even let dad stay with family...ALL foreigners have to stay in hotels.
there are police and army people on just all main street corners with automatic weapons. it seems like the army is in a constant state of paranoia.
as 3rd world and paranoid as it seems...it still is a great place! really nice people!
