New to this and need serious help...
Im 25, 6'4" and weigh 252lbs. According to the digital scale, my body fat is like 33%. I dont know anything about working out. I dont know if the scale is accurate as far as body fat %, etc. I dont know what to eat to be healthy, etc. But I do know that I my body is snowballing down hill fast. I feel like crap. I feel the weight of my stomach all the time, and its sucks. My main problem is my eating habbits. For some reason, I eat when im bored and cant seem to stop! I feel sick everytime I eat because I eat so much. So, here is my question. How do I stop this snowball!?!? I need something to control my hunger and help me burn fat, and then I need to learn how to work out efficiently. Can someone help me?

Answer:

Those scales aren't always accurate. Most of them tell you a higher BF% than you really are.
to lose weight, I would start out by taking it slowly. For the first week, cut out one bad thing that you eat and replace it with one good thing (ex: replace soda with water). Slowly make changes throughout the weeks and this way you will form habits and keep the weight off. You will constantly see changes in weight.
Try to start slow with some cardio. Start by walking one week, and move up to hrader training every week.
Try doing some weight training as you cut weight. It doesnt have to be anything complicated for now, but if you train with weights while losing weight, you will prevent losing muscle while you lose fat.
Just start by making slow changes everyday. It will really add up over like 12 weeks, and you will form new habits for the rest of your life (hopefully!).
Don't forget to change everything up every once in a while (try more cardio, cut out mroe bad food, etc.) because your body will adapt to the same thing for a long time.
Good luck!
