Tea, coffee, me?
Just wanted to know.... I read a few places that tea is good to drink while Gyming, why?
Also, is coffee a good alternative?

Thanx for the help guys. Well, I personally wouldn't drink coffee WHILE lifting...but I usually have some before hitting the gym to get a bit of an energy boost whenever I'm feelin lethargic/tired.
I know tea has alot of good antioxidants (as does coffee) that are useful for your body, and it doesn't dehydrate you as much as coffee does. Also depends on the type of tea you're drinking I suppose. Again, personally, I drink tea when I'm just relaxin or hangin out. I never really drink anything while lifting except water.
And let's not forget, they both have caffeine, which is one reason why lot's of folks drink coffee before their workouts.
