Made some gains
Just started a new workout in the last two months (bulking)...i made some good gains...5kg which some was contributed to fat...ive noticed my stomach has a slight amount of more fat over it.
question:
My diet is up around 2800-3000 cal...which is probably not enough however ive still put on some wieght (muscle and fat) I know im not eatting enough protien, and am about to buy some whey powder to fix this problem. Should i not worry to much about the fat ive put on(tiny amount) and should i just brush this off and consider it as newbie gains and something that is the direct resultant of bulking. So i basically just need to bump the protien and not worry about comphensating for this increase in total calories.

whey is a fine supplement post/pre workout.. but what is ur intake of protein right now.. seeing ur about 175 u shuold be getting a good 175-215g of protein in ur diet.. if ur taking this already there is no need to bump it up really
i would consider taking in some more fats if anything.. and also how many carbs are u taking.. how many meals are u eating
brush off the newbie fat gains.. u arent going to gain pure muscle.. ull get that to muscle in no time in the gym
continue what ur doing before u think about bumping up the protein unless ur under 1g/lb of bodyweight..
stick with a 40/30/30 ratio.. it seemst o work great.. and u have a good amnt of cals for a bulk.. i woulndt switch until u hit a plateau

hmm guess this means i owe you rep points lol eating 6 meals a day and u weight about 180 do the math bro? about 30g of protein per meal.. that is very simple and yields about 5oz of lean beef/chicken/tuna/eggs etc etc.. search it up on fitday.. also about a lil bit over a scoop of whey protein is 30g of protein.. usually protein powders yield about 20-25g per scoop.. so judging on what you get (go ON whey or ABB Pure Pro .. my 2 favorites and they are cheap and taste great) ABB is 20g / scoop and can get 5 lbs for 21 bucks online.. and ON whey you can get online for pretty cheap too here at the BB site or local GNC stores
anything else let me know.. post up that diet and calculators so we can see where your at

Total Calories: 3049 (add on protein shake when I buy one + 700 calories = 3749
At a quick glance do you think im getting enough protien??...im thinking no
