Applying for job at Guitar store.. ...
Worked as a Land Surveyor for years.... money was good with all the out of town work but... got sick of working with dickholes. The boss' kids... seriously... you've never met a more assininely retarded 27 year old hillbilly hick!
Anyways... figure I'll work selling musical equipment for awhile.
Really, the interview is where the deal is done but...
What's something that's gonna catch their attention in the cover letter?
What's something good to say in there?
Blah, blah, blah....
"I would be proud(?) to be a member of the sales team here at XX music"
"I feel that I could.... "
Cripes! I never know what to say with these things.

Jokes are all well and good but some serious help would be appreciated.

I figure as long as you know enough about guitars to be able to help people choose something that fits them then you should be ok. Just be sure to be as nice and helpful as possible and try to forgive the kids playing the intro to Crazy Train over and over.
"Shut up n play yer guitar!" i dont know where thats from, but i do play guitar. I use midi for organs, pianos synths etc.
ppl who dont know anything about guitars are gunna be the only ones u'll need to help...guys who know more than you wont be asking, so you should be good

probably it won't really matter what I say in a cover letter...
More how I present myself when I hand it off to the manager.
Ya know... I could do a WAY better job than 90% of the people I encounter who work at these places. Most of the time they are absolute DICKS! Snobs... or they don't want to help you.... OR what I hate MOST... when they stand over you watching you as you try 3 or 4 guitars... I mean.... FAWK OFF ALREADY!
just make sure to enforce
"No Stairway"
just make sure to enforce
"No Stairway" I've always wanted to walk into one of those places....
"Not today my good man"
"Do you take.... CASH?!" Ching!
just make sure to enforce
"No Stairway" Yeah lol get one of those signs like from Wayne's World
