Don't understand gut fat

Don't understand gut fat
I have NO fat on my legs, NONE on my arms, NONE on my face
I am a skinny bastard, BUT i have a gut
I have been lifting for 4 months and do cardio on the days i dont lift.
The people I live with and 80% of the population can eat PIZZA, McDONALDS, FULL CREAM MILK, ICE CREAM and while they may put fat on, they put it on proportionally over their whole body, and look normal.
If I eat any of this shit, all i get is love handles and a gut, it doesn't go anywhere else.
At the moment I keep my diet to: low-fat milk, oats, almonds, chicken breast, wholegrain bread, rice, vegetables, beef .. eating about 3000 Cals at 35/35/30
What the **** do i have to do? Do i have to do more cardio? Less carbs? Less fat? No carbs after 6pm? etc.
I hate the fact most other people have a flat stomach, regardless of what they eat.

Answer:

Im the exact same way, i dont worry about it. Its like, you eat like a mofo to gain muscle and all the excess goes toward the stomach. I don't worry about it myself but good luck with whatever you find

Answer:

Genetics are a gay. It'll come off though, it just takes persistence.

I hate the fact most other people have a flat stomach, regardless of what they eat. I would say give less carbs and more protein a try. Think it might help.

Answer:

Answer:

Answer:

I talked to a doctor about it and he said generally people who store fat in their stomach area have bad circulation coming from the heart to that part of the body. He said it's generally a sign of heart conditions later in life.

Answer:

Really you just need to cut the fat. That's the last fat that goes. I'm the exact same way. I cut for three months earlier this year and got the top outline of four of my abs to show. Now I'm cutting here and there to get defined abs. It takes time and you're going to need to lose weight.

-That really doesn't work for everybody - at least not for me. Getting rid of carbs and sugar (including beer!) took off my belly fat.

Answer:

hehe...It's a man thing. women gain in the butt and thighs, men in the tummy.

Answer:

hehe...It's a man thing. women gain in the butt and thighs, men in the tummy. I wish that was my problem (hips and thighs vs tummy). When I put on weight, it goes straight to the tummy as well. Even when I'm fairly lean, I still have the lower tummy buldge. It's definately the LAST thing to go for me. Damn genes.

Answer:

You sure your not a man? o.O ??? Not exactly the nicest joke in the world. My point being that genes, not our sex, determines where we will store fat.

I have girly genes :(

Answer:

Most of my fat is around my lower stomach/hips/back area, it sucks but those are the cards I was dealt. You just gotta do your best, and try different things to see what works for you.

I have girly genes :( My husband has the same problem. Don't worry about it! I don't even notice it on him. He lifts hard and still has a hard time losing body fat in those areas. I talk about my "manly" tummy (which he says barely exists) and he talks about his "girly" thighs (which I do not notice!). I think we worry about those few extra lbs a little too much sometimes, focus in on those areas (and not the ones we've made progress on), and it makes it hard to see what we really look like or how far we've come.

EDIT: oops you're married, sorry......Well does HE mind? lol

I had virtually no fat or carbs in my diet at all, did plenty of cardio, ate accordingly, and the fat still wouldn't peel off from my stomach after 3 months. I had been losing weight for 6, arms and all that came off like nothing but.. the tummy, even with fat burning supplements couldn't take care of it. Don't know what it was.

Yeah, but when anyone touches my thigh or lower back area I flinch. Guess I'm a little insecure about those areas. :(

Yeah, but its still depressing when you work your butt off and dont see that exact fat going away :D I just grin when people ask "How can I get rid of fat in this certain area?".

Just tell them what they want to hear. I find people have the answer in their mind before asking the question, when they do that. They just want you to reassure them..
Ex:
Abs - 10bazillion sit ups

I didn't write "no fat" - I just wrote 'no carbs or sugar". The keto diet (see keto forum) is what helped me lose the flab - and it's all about eating fat to burn fat.
