Question on cooked chicken breast

Question on cooked chicken breast
I'm wondering if it will be safe to microwave a chicken breast, place it in a bag, go out, eat it 6-8 hours later?
Will it spoil or something?

Answer:

Wait, is this refrigerated, or are you carrying it around with you?
It probably wouldn't kill you if you carry it around with you but I can't say that is very healthy habit. Vegetables will last but meats tend to be very susceptible to spoilage.

Answer:

it's ok to do that cuz i've done it when i know when i'll be out for a while. but if you can help it, microwave the chicken breast and eat it right away.

Answer:

my friend does this...makes the taste bland...just throw it on the foreman if ya could

Answer:

is it cooked first??? I personally wouldn't cook a chicken in the microwave but thats up to you. I personally would carry a cooled lunch box. I know that helped me for work and what not.

Answer:

I'm just carrying it around with me.
