This thread will describe the glorious nation of MISCLAND, describing its culture, legal system, rights, notable people, ala those country data you see on wikipedia. Feel free to suggest any new categories I could add, and contribute to any current data. I will be updating the list as often as possible.
MISCLAND
Intro
MISCLAND is where the citizens of here MISC forum gather to live their lives. They abide by a unique set of rules unlike any other ever seen, and is known to be one of the strangest places of earth.
Religion
MISCLAND worships a pantheon of Gods known collectively as 'Mods'. The 'Mods' have shown themselves to exists, however, some of the denizens of MISCLAND have frequent bouts of crisis of faith, and offend the Gods, causing the Gods to strike them down. The Gods of the MISC bless in abundance, giving away a shitload of valuable treasure called 'green reps'. However, when the Gods get mad, they strike you down with the most horrible punishments, such as 'negs' 'a trip to ban camp', or even, a hit by the dreaded, soul destroying hammer caller 'neg hammer'.
Posting nude pictures, fighting with the Gods, trolling or simply a God in a bad mood can cause a God to strike you down
Gods has known to fall from time to time, to be replaced by a mortal, thus the eternal cycle continues to this day.
Economy
MISCLAND relies on the exchange of currency of 'green reps' in order to survive. People with the most green reps can be clearly seen, and respected by the MISC, no matter how bad they are. Fortunately, more often, the case is such that only the best rise to the top, but there has been occasions where total douchebags has risen to greatness from a single blessing from a God. You are only useful as the amount you can rep.
The MISC has rampant poverty, as seen with the amount of people with 'red reps' Red reps make you useless, as you can't give any green reps if you are in the red. Again, usually the scum are red, but there are instances where mighty heroes are in the red, such as WSsicks, badboy2 and Mr_Angry.
Judaical system
Chief Judge of MISCLAND is WSsicks. He does not have any real authority nor power, however, he is the Chief Judge based solely on the fact that he is the most prominent lawyer in the MISC. He is famous for his quality threads, and pointless posts, but is loved by many(no homo)
MISC follows a vigilante system of justice, where the public punishes the evildoers with negs(red reps), and rewards the good with reps(green reps)
Posting scantily dressed women, especially if you know them personally, or even PM-ing nudes will be rewarded with a huge flow of green reps. Quality posts, funny posts, photochops, strong networking, being female and strong usage of MISC grammar will also be awarded with reps.
Posting a repost, strong e-stats, gay porn, attempting to make sense of the MISC will usually be punished with negs.
