So.. what did the bible before time was created look like?
So.. what did the bible before time was created look like?

I said that.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us
John 1
:) You're taking this too literal.
In the beginning = "once upon a time"
1 - God meant what he had to say and held it until someone invented pen and paper
2 - It was the same with god as he is the same inside and outside (To Kill the Mockingbird anyone?)
3 - Wasn't Jesus Christ a carpenter before he became a messiah? What if this was a way to promote his carpeting business?
4 - The word was made flesh and dwelt among us - the truth is inside us? We know our own truth and know how to do best with it to live in harmony with the world?
I don't see how it said that the bible was created before time.
The Bible was written by a huge bunch of people with different ideas who thought they were wise. It has endless amounts of contradictions and scientific/logical errors that I think Harry Potter books are more scientific and contain 0 contradictions. This being the proof os just how much you really know about how the Bible came to be... amazing to say the least.. you pose no FACTS, NO QUESTIONS, NO comments of the people who did the writing of the different books, just your uneducated OPINION..
FACTS.... you dont need to stinking facts.. LMAO.. its like debating physics with a chimp..
You're taking this too literal.
In the beginning = "once upon a time" Wrong. It means a definite point in time, just as it says.
4 The word was made flesh and dwelt among us the truth is inside us? We know our own truth and know how to do best with it to live in harmony with the world? No. No truth is "inside" you, as you have made plain.
I don't see how it said that the bible was created before time. No kidding.
Wrong. It means a definite point in time, just as it says.
No. No truth is "inside" you, as you have made plain.
No kidding. Then why quote something offtopic??? I'm talking about what the book before time looked like and you quote something not related to it and then say "no kidding"? Reason man!

I responded directly to the words that the first person in the thread asked. Your attempt to derail the discussion with silliness was ignored by me. You quoted me in your first message, wherein I explained the origin of the Bible. Not what color looks best on its cover or whether a particular publisher is good or bad.
:)

:) He asked "So.. what did the bible before time was created look like?"
You responded "no kidding" then?
And can you explain the origin of the bible again? I didn't quite catch it unless this was the origin of the bible:
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He asked "So.. what did the bible before time was created look like?" By "he" do you mean yourself? That is not what was asked in the first message. My message as to the origin of the Word of God was clear, and it had nothing to do with Zondervan or any of the other insignificancies that you later injected for God knows what reason.
Clear enough?

However because I feel it's a different subject I want to ask, what did the bible look like? Are you able to prove to me that it has never gone through any editing?
My current bible looked like this: http://www.amazon.com/Zondervan-NIV-...7196231&sr=8-1
Are you telling me God worked in Zondervan? Are you telling me he decided to give it an ISBN and all that? It looked like God. You're falling down on the job! "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." Sheesh! Bone up on what you post on the forums here before you let your fingers "do the walking" on your keyboard.
