Antwan Barnes' on Sav Rocca - cheap shot?
Was this hit a cheap shot? Judging by the commentator it definitely was but there seems to be a few fans saying it wasn't.

And for everyone who will inevitably say "welcome to the NFL" and comments to that nature, keep in mind Sav got straight up as he is used to it, without the pads and helmet:

Definately a cheap shot IMO, no matter who the kicker is, whether he is playing his first game or playing his last, theres no way that is a fair hit.
And its pre-season! We're talking about pre-season?!? lol

Dude should have kept his head on a swivel, Barnes was doin what he was suppose to do its not like the punter isnt allowed to tackle or something. And the block he dished out looked like he got him in the numbers and not from behind.

Nobody is saying he isn't allowed to tackle him, just that the play was virtually dead, its a preseason game and then Barnes smashes Rocca for pretty much no reason, other than to take down the new guy from Australia

Like you want the opposition kicker all healthy. u should smash them and hopefully their condition deteriorates and they cant kick as good.

The nfl guys think they are hard but they have all that protective gear on, whereas in afl/nrl they have nothing and go in just as hard if not harder.
