cash or bank account?
cash or bank account?
im 16 and got my first job in june so i have a few thousand in the bank....
but i keep thinking about the depression and stick market etc and how everyone lost their money even in the bank....
which got me to thinking if i should withdraw everything and keep it in cash in my closet in a safe....
do i need to worry about computer errors or a depression and losing all my money?
No. We have ruels and law that protect peoples money and to prevent ourselves from going into another depression. Your money is a hell of a lot safer in the bank.
lmfao, go deposit it in the bank dude.

but, i dont think it will matter because if it happens, then the dollar will be worthless
put it in the closet. The aliens won't find it. Also, cover your house with tin foil.
money in the bank is federally insured, even if we have another depression, the government is responsible for ur money and is obligated to give it to u. wow man ...... maybe ask ur banker this?
does your closet give you interest? if not i suggest you go with the bank

what if the gov becomes bankrupt? look at what Ron Paul and other republican canidates think on the issue of moeny and we most likely wouldnt have that problem ever with their plan.
bank. because u can have all ur money on a little debit card, and ur checks can all be deposited to ur account. not to mention the easiness of online banking and being able to see all ur transactions and balances
Obviously safer in the bank, but stash a few hundred somewhere in the house in case of emergencies.
Even though your money is SAFER in the bank, i will tell you this:
Chase Bank has done NOTHING to help me and PLENTY to hurt me.
just keep it in the bank it is federally insured, i know in canada ur insured up to $200,000.00 so im sure its sometihng similar in the states. plus money hoarding is illegal i believe.

Let me ask you this; do you trust the federal government?
I keep part in the bank, part in cash. I don't trust them.

Plus, if you have money just alying around, you are more likely to spend it faster on stupid stuff
i agree everything online like online banking direct deposit, etc is easier, but what if a mistake happens and i lose my money? i know records will help but cash just seems to get everything done easier
