EX: if i said, benchncurls beats women, and i wanted BEATS WOMEN highlighted..
It may souns stupid, but i usually just erase the quoted post till what i want it to say is left...does that make any sense?

ignore the periods in there i had to add those to make the [b] show up

highlight the phrase and press Ctrl + B
or Ctrl + I if you wanna make it italics
In firefox, highlgith what you want to bold, then CTRL+B
