First of all, many people don't believe in psychics, mediums, spirits, the afterlife, etc. We all respect that opinion, and I don't think there's any need to debate about that here in a general sense. This thread is directed towards those who perhaps have had experiences that make them interested in it and would have something to say about this in comparison to other channeled spirits, how it may or may not be genuine as compared to others, and about the content of what the medium or Benoit is saying.
So anyway, there's this collection of videos by a medium who has done a number of other videos. In this series, about 1/2 hour long total, she's channeling Benoit.

So as far as my opinion, after watching all three videos, to me the content seems to explain things about his life and death and personality in a way that makes sense to me and also is along the lines of standard modern new-age teachings about life and death. So it certainly wasn't made for shock value, as there's nothing really surprising or controversial in it that would generate waves. But I do think it was a very eye-opening explanation of what went wrong with Benoit over the years in his body and his relationship to his family and why he did what he did. I'm not sure what "substances" he was talking about that were responsible for the changes, as apparently he had been taking more than just steroids. Maybe the particular kind of steroids that had the long-term effect in the high doses he took and over that amount of time, or maybe one of the other drugs - I don't know exactly what he may have meant. But even so, his explanation connects a lot of dots for me. And when he mentioned that he had been thinking about doing this for some time, I have to note that in retrospect in the months prior to his death every time I saw him on TV I'd get a feeling about him that felt not really sick exactly but kind of deathly violent or falling apart or near death or something, almost like I was half-expecting him to die right there in the ring. It felt kind of like he was going downhill quickly, and it just did not feel like he was going to last very long. And yet I didn't pay much attention to that, so when the events finally happened I was surprised as anyone at the time.

If it is Benoit, then maybe because the medium might not be familiar with him, she might not pronnounce his name correctly- assuming it is real, then she is just that, a medium, and he is speaking through her, not possessing her.

Third, she asked if my godmothers other dog spent a lot of time in the nook of the staircase. She did, and the psychic said thats b/c Tyler, the dead dog, still has a large presence in that area of the home and the other dog was aware of that.
While I do believe that some people can cross over and chat with the dead, I think this is a hoax. I've never heard Benoit talk so much in my entire life. I also thing that Benoit taking over her body is a little far fetched. Usually, mediums interview the dead, they don't become the dead during the actual interview.

Right, usually they just communicate through symbols and brief sounds and whatnot. But Abraham/Hicks (what The Secret was based on) is another example of one that does the same as this girl. They've described it as Abraham not directly speaking the words, or even speaking words that Esther repeats, but speaking through the mind of Esther in a way that it still gets kind of filtered.
